Weather and comics
Apr. 12th, 2008 02:20 pmO Iowa. Ur wether so wacky.
And by wacky, I mean "full of hate". Tornado warning on Thursday kept me in the back room of the library drawing lizard-birds for over an hour >_<
Anywho, got the rest of Blue Beetle uploaded (that's through #25), so download and read! (CDisplay needed for the majority of these; I can -probably- repack and reupload these as a different file type, but making you download and install that is much easier. [/selfish])
1-10
11-14 + Brave and the Bold 3
15-20
21-25
This is actually a remarkably good stopping point in (for?) the series. I can only hope that it's not actually over, and that the advertisement in the back for the All Spanish #26 was not a lie. On a recent re-read (and read) of the whole thing, I also went through and translated all of the scarab's duologue that I could. Turns out that, as far as I can tell, it's all nonsense until the second panel of #5. After that, it's about 50% relevant and 50% nonsense/repeated words/backwards. Still, the suit has a much higher snark ratio if you translate what it's saying consistently.
Also, there's totally a fandom joke in the early 20s. (Danni: But if you post something that says "slash" on the internet, you get...) I cracked up. Hot damn, our writer knows what's going on out there!
On a different note, here, have some gender politics in movies. Randall Munroe has wins my heart once again.
