Rats, Bussing, and Sci-Fi eyerolls
Aug. 5th, 2009 11:26 pmWhee, I haven't posted since Friday, watch me go~
*ahem* Seriously, though, I do want to do more than a token entry here.
Last week, my rat Al got a case of the sniffles :( ( More details )
Monday afternoon, Durham had its kick-off meeting. It took waaaay longer than I expected. ...Okay, only by about an hour, but still. Longer. I ended up walking home, which probably did me a lot of good :3 Yesterday afternoon, I visited the main building to scope out possible bus routes. I did manage to track mine down, finally 9_9a Bidding is tomorrow. I'm around number 100 in seniority (o_o! When the heck did I get so high on the list?), and my time is set for about a third after twelve. I'm hoping to keep my route from last year, but I've got some back-up routes in mind, just in case.
In other news, I wish my laser mouse would work more consistently >_< It might be time to think about upgrading to a new computer. Argh, must save up money...
Oh, and in other other news, Science-Fiction is failing at inclusion. Again. (Though at least there's apparently going to be the first North American Discworld convention sometime in Arizona this year? With Pterry and everything? Yeah, IDK.)
