Magical Girl Icka Poll Results

soc_puppetThought I'd finally get around to discussing these today ^_^ (Results can be found here. It's technically still open since I don't know how to close it, so if you missed it the first time around you can still vote, but I don't know how much of an effect you'll have on the decisions regarding the results.)
Where should MGI be set:
"All over the place" got the most votes, followed at a distance by "Underwater! ^^" (WTF, yo) and then "Somewhere in Kiwiland". There was also one vote for Tokyo. The vote of "in a bad LSD trip" is discounted, since it's already pretty much the equivalent. So the action is going to take place all over the world; Icka's going to get her powers in Kiwiland; and she's going to have a secret Magical Squid Base underwater somewhere that she'll visit regularly.
Magical Girl Icka should fight:
"With a team! More thinly disguised authors/artists! More I say!" came in first, though I'm still slightly reluctant. I'll add a few extra random Magical people at various sites around the world as a compromise, since the votes were spread so evenly (as compared to the first question). Civilians are definitely going to play a role in helping, because I liked the idea in the first place and it got eight votes. And there will also be the Traditional Boyfriend Help (only more helpful), because I like stomping on Magical Girl cliches. I don't know how often Icka will fight solo? I'm still rather torn over the whole Cute Talking Animal Companion issue.
The ferret-themed villainess should fight:
"By ordering a group of minions to do her dirty work. Yay, potential cameos!" won that question hands down. Since "Strictly with the power of Vampiric Squid and super-powered ferrets. Anything else is overkill." came in second, though, all of her minions will be equipped with those. And they may occasionally be sent out on their own, who knows. As for the two of you who voted for "As a minion to a greater evil. (Yeah, right.)", (you know who you are, and if you don't you can check), I just want to know one thing. Who or what could be a greater evil?It would be helpful to know for later seasons.
Any of these I'm still open to debates over--particularly the Magical Team Mates issue, as I'm not sure how many of you will be receptive to the idea. Other than that, Team Magical Girl Icka, will we be opening applications for potential Magical Girls and Evil Minions to everyone? I know the Team and the Prats are probably going to have spots, but how 'bout anyone else? And where do we draw the line?
