Ahahaha, I've been a giant flaky thing over the past week ;_; *fails* I'mma try and be better now, really.

Heads up post to say that I'm off to Colorado on the sixth :O Alamosa, to be exact. I'll be there for about two weeks, give or take, in belated celebration of a cousin's wedding. (Getting a lot of that this time of year. ...The wedding celebrations, not so much the belated. Though that as well.) This does indeed mean two weeks of dealing with my family--whom I love, but I'm not used to =_= *is tempted to try and forceably drag a friend along* On that note, anyone know of any anime conventions in the time/area? :D I know we're going to visit hotsprings, which'll be big points in my book (as there is always a hotsprings episode an' I wanna see what it's like and stuff), but anything other than that I absolutely need to do/see?

Will also probably be attempting to try out that neat little applet to visit the CFUD IRC channel. Am currently terrified @_@ And also intimidated by the technology. Someone hold my hand? ♥

Also, mild annoyance towards the Kirkwood ADD program, as it cannot force teachers to allow me to hand in homework late >/ I mean, I understand why; doesn't stop me from wishing I could get away with it, though.

...I think that's everything for now? I guess I'll just edit this or update again if I think of something else.

[Edit] ...Yeah, will probably not be trying the IRC applet out tonight after all. Or... wow, for months, probably. If ever. Maybe not even regular IRC. Complicated T-T Well, maybe not very, but definitely to someone who's never even tried the regular version ;_; *resolves to try and find someone who will help her*

Got it to work, okay, let's see--

NOTE: I will make the assumption that you want you nick there to be "socchan" because I'm just the assumer.

Approve the applet to work on your computer if something pops up, just hit the OK or Approve or Yes or whatever button.

Now - you should see the screen read in large letters #campfuckudie, and the Java applet below that, in blue. Wait until it looks like all the text that could be on that window is on that window, then type in the entry box:

/nick socchan

Note that it is case sensitive so if you want to capitalise your nick then that's okay.

Now type in:

/join #campfuckudie

And you're in. Start chatting and marvel at the crack that is CFUD on IRC.
