Going through each of the tales systematically.

Toph and Katara:
Okay, I can totally understand Toph's "Don't touch my feet!" thing. Especially with sandpaper. I mean, worse than a sharp stick in the eye much? Owch >_O

Going to agree with the majority, 'cuz yeah, that's an unprofessional amount of make-up.

Also, that bit towards the end was so obligatory yuri fanservice. Had to be.

Iroh:

Major kudos for plant knowledge. (And I really hope they went through with that terrible "Uncle's Greatest Hits" CD plan and got some recording done early on. But I doubt it. *sigh* It just won't be the same...)

Sokka:
Anyone else notice that the haiku that drew him in was about the moon? You know, as a 'casual interest' kinda thing.

...I am also incredibly amused at the thought of Sokka busting mad haiku at the drop of a hat. I mean, so what if he screwed up on the last one? That was still a damn good showing. He should so be a poet when he retires. ~~Or just slay armies with bad verse. Or something.~~

Aang:
Obligatory cute happenings! And wow, he must have collected every animal that wasn't in a cage. Very nice habitats for the lot of them.

...And that armadillo-lion thing was adorable ♥

Zuko:
A hundred fangirls in denial: He must have pulled away and run off 'cuz he doesn't actually like girls, ZOMG!
A hundred different fangirls in denial: That was obviously Jet in a dress. Had to be. No other explanation.
Me: ...Well whadayaknow, Zuko's a healthy young man. Whoda thunkit.

...Not that I don't like the "It's Jet inna dress!" theory. Quite the contrary. I just don't find it particularly likely. (Though I do kinda hope she won't be a recurring character.)

Momo:
...I am a terrible person. Do you know why? It's because, while other fangirls reacted to this short by crying (or generally wanting to cry), my reaction throughout the entire thing was pretty much as follows:

"Where is my bison? Is that my bison? It is made of water and goes "BOOM!" a lot. That is not my bison."

And trying not to laugh.

...and I'm this close to actually taking the appropriate 'caps and making an entry out of it. The entire damn thing. *fails* ...Yeah, you can kill me now. (Though I will point out that if you do, you won't get to see either of the JetLi fics I'm working on right now. Just as a point of interest sorta thing.)

And, on an only slightly related note, anyone know where I can find the ages of the cast? And hopefully a timeline? (Specifically, how many years ago did Iroh's son die?) 'Cuz I have ideas for stuff, and I wanna make sure that people aren't having kids when they're fourteen to make it work. And it still might not work, but. I wanna try anyway?

Edit: Why is it that, suddenly, it feels like everything I'm writing for x pairing is cheesy and overdone? I am not used to this feeling. It is weird.

(Srsly, it is way to hot in here. Also, someday I must try and go all day speaking only in haiku. 'Cuz it sounds like mad (of the 'drives you' variety) fun.)
