Meme + request-like-thing

soc_puppetDo I feel guilty for partaking of so many fic memes without giving anything in return, or am I just that bored? The world may never know!
(...yeah, okay, it's probably a combination of the two. *is downloading-then-uploading manga at the moment*)
Anyway, saw this one floating around, thought it was interesting, decided to give it a shot.
Give me one of my own stories, and a timestamp sometime in the future after the end of the story, or sometime in the past before the story started, and I'll write you at least a hundred words of what happened then, whether it's five minutes before the story started or ten years in the future.
Fics are here. Timestamp can also be for sometime during the story for characters who are involved but not shown, or for events that were glossed over.And yes, any rating.
Also, question/request: Gimme a boy's name that you could see a girl ending up with for some reason. One that's not neccessarily because it can be a boy's name or a girl's name (Ashley, Kelsey, Mackenzie, etc) or has gender-neutral nicknames (Chris, Alex, etc). Though male spelling of names-that-go-either-way are also acceptable.
Anyway, hit me.

- Hiring Policy -
Zuko was late getting up the next morning. This was understandable, considering he had been up for half the night, thoughts of that evening troubling him. Just what had Jet meant by that, anyway? Wanting him. No one wanted him, not even his own father wanted him. And then what happened after - well, it was really better if he just didn't think about that at all, wasn't it? (Not that his dreams would let him; when he had at last drifted off, it was only to be teased by flashes of memory and the feeling of too-warm hands pressed against his.)
Pulling on his clothes, Zuko stumbled into the kitchen, where his uncle was already preparing the first pots of tea. "Morning," he grunted, wiping the sleep from his eyes.
"Ah, good morning, nephew!" Iroh said cheerfully. "Did you have a good sleep?"
Zuko's good eye narrowed. "Where's the spark rocks, anyway?" he asked, tying on an apron and reaching for his own tea supplies. The morning rush would be starting soon.
The tea shop's owner cut off Iroh's answer. "Mushi, Li, good news!" he annouced, waltzing into the kitchen. "Since business has been going so well, I decided we could take on some more help! Allow me to introduce your new assistant. He's young still, but he's very enthusiastic. He was here before we opened today, seeing if he could help us out, and how could I refuse? Li, Mushi, I'd like you to meet Jet."
The young man brushed aside the cloth and stepped forward, the piece of grass absent from his mouth. "It's an honor to meet you," he said, smiling charmingly.
Zuko almost dropped the tray he was holding. He whipped back around to the counter, bending over so his face was hidden. What was he doing here?
The owner smiled one more time. "Well, I'll let you two get back to work. Be sure to show young Jet here all the ropes, and remember, we open in twenty minutes!"
Zuko tried very hard to concentrate only on the spark rocks he was holding, his hand shaking to hard for him to start a proper fire. The rocks were abruptly plucked from his hands, with a casual, "Here, let me."
Zuko scowled, continuing to watch the tinder as Jet struck the rocks together and it lit. For someone born and raised in Earth Country, Zuko observed, Jet was surprisingly adept at working with fire. He frowned harder, wondering where the thought came from, and was reminded of his earlier question. "What are you doing here, anyway?"
"Didn't I tell you? I've decided to start over, to go straight for once; that means getting a job so I can support myself." He flashed a grin when Zuko dared a sideways glance. "Besides, you're already working here, aren't you? I already said it would be good if we could stick together."
Steam started lifting from the kettle on Zuko's left, and the youth picked it up abruptly. "I need to put the tea in this," he announced. "When that kettle's hot, get Uncle to show you how to do it." With that, Zuko turned and walked stiffly to where the tea leaves were cut. He could feel Jet's eyes on him the whole way.
Jet sighed and looked back down at the kettle in front of him. Li would come around sooner or later; he knew it.

Okay, looking back, I deeefinitely should've included what Iroh was thinking at the time, but, uh. I kinda wrote it on the spot and right off the top of my head?
Tried to pay a lot of attention to hands, and give Zuko his usual "I can't figure myself out DD:" stuff, with only a leetle "My dad hates me DDDD:" angst on the side. There's probably a bunch of blushing I didn't actually write in there but still happened ^^a Anyway, could use a little cleanup, but not too bad other than that.

I could definitely feel the blushing. XD And the angst and awkwardness were very well balanced. All in all, I give it 9 hearts ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ out of 10.

It'll be one of those stories where the girl goes to the all-boy's school for one reason or another, and dresses like a boy to get in and stuff? And then falls in lurve~♥ with some guy there? Only the guy she falls in love with? Is actually also a girl in drag ¦D And, uh, there's the other two band members there with her, and they're also girls in drag, and one of them will be Chase :DD (She will be awesome ♥♥♥ And I still need to think about punk!girl, but I think she won't care much and will end up spending a lot of time in her room, working on the music and stuff.) And yeah. Unless I call her Max or something. I think her girl name might be something really frilly, though :3) HOPEFULLY. As in, HOPEFULLY I WILL BE ABLE TO SQASH IT INTO 15-20 PAGES FOR THE TOKYOPOP RSOM CONTEST, AND THEN EXPAND AND SERIALIZE IT, but also if I don't win I'll probably try for that :)*XD Never happened that way for me.
