soc_puppetSo, how's everyone out there doing? I myself seem to have discovered a strange new hobby/habit - that is, I am now avidly watching for safe sex practices in hentai/ecchi manga and doujin. The reason being, probably, my extreme surprise at actually finding some last night. Srsly.
Socchan, while reading a certain yaoi manga last night: Oh, hay, a condom!
Later in that same manga (different story): Another condom, score.
A few pages after this: Huh. I really need to check the 'rules' on condom usage, and when exactly they need to be changed, 'cuz otherwise I won't know whether or not to grade down on the lack of changing there.
Bizarrely, it makes me feel even more like writing a condomuse!lemon. Or three even. Even more than I feel like writing het for my next lemon (which I mostly feel like doing because I seem to have not actually written a het lemon yet, and thus said that my next one damn well better include some het sex already). Yeah. Condoms. ...WTF, me.
On a slightly related note, I finally know what a hickey looks like IRL! ...It's probably telling that I didn't know what they looked like before today, too. Also that I had to force myself not to stare with my artist's eyes and all that. I mean, I'm pretty sure I'mma be including them in projects at some point in the future (though damned if I know exactly what they'll be), so not knowing what they looked like outside of manga was kinda ...detrimental, I think? Iunno, it's been too long since I did regular non-fic/non-comic reading, and my vocabulary has noticably suffered for it.
...Yeah, okay, considering how much of that post was bedroom related, I must really need to be writing another lemon soon. Gotta get this outta my head somehow. *hums a little and starts typing in a new window*

Date: 2007-03-09 07:05 pm (UTC)And, actually, I can't save things as DVDs, so Naruto would have to be in CD form ^^; I have 1-25, 112, 114-117, 120-134 (end of the actual storyline before the fifty million fillers) and 162-167 XD Supposedly that site I got them from now has all the episode, but I'm stuck with crappy dial up now. ...And I didn't realize there were so many fillers cause I don't care about them.
