And also a little bit of whining, but that'll be over with after just another sentence or two. First day of classes at CR campus, which is large and confusing, and I think I like the IC campus better; also, the IC campus comp labs have not yet changed their schedule to read "8:00 AM to 10:00 PM", leading me to believe that the 8:00-8:00 thing is somewhat more permanent than I at first thought and would like. So, boof. Whining over, yay!
B♀y Band arts, huzzah!

JC looking... young and girly, hopefully. Because that hair does not lend itself well to girlish-looking-ness, and I wanted practice, I guess? Or practice of when her mom was still around or something. ...O wow, ded parent stereotype, better make up for it by not making JC completely dysfunctional over related topics or something.
Also practice signing her name, just for fun.

Nat looking casual :3 Because she hasn't looked too casual in what I've drawn her in so far. Decided her family probably lives on a farm, and oh crap I forgot to keep a picture of her bother. Oh well. Also, she doesn't have a watch, but has a pretty good sense of how much time has passed/time in general. But only sometimes. (She is easily distracted by music-related things, I think.)

Potential family for Simon! Possibly Mom and Possibly Dad. Did not cut them off at the legs in order to demonstrate height differences. Mom and Dad are still in concept stages though, so they may drastically change.

Simon's plan to pass the swimming unit in gym class! (Not shown: chest wraps and cup.) It was her granddad Simon's suit :3b I might've mentioned it before here? But yeah. Granddad Simon was famous for his love of swimming, mostly because he couldn't swim. (NEW, AS OF TODAY!) He held a number of swimming records at [school Simon & co attend]; sadly, none of them were the good sort. And so on 8D

Just random Simon practice. Mostly because I had a lot more drawn of just about everyone besides her. Also 'cuz I wanted to see what she might look like upside-down :Db
Time Traveling Thing 8D
Right, so! I don't remember whether I talked about this after Acen or not, but I think I did? So for a more detailed version, you can skip back to the entries in May. Long story short, Shunsui-mun from CFUD and a friend of hers and I ended up playing a game of Morton's List for about an hour, and ended up with the concept for something that was very, but not entirely, unlike the original idea of "Write something where Katara from Avatar, Juliet from RxJ and Inui from Prince of Tennis would meet". Changed it farther because I liked the idea so much I thought it might be fun to do something that might actually make me money with it, but am not betting a lot on the idea. Still having fun with world building/character designing.

The notes from the original game. Yes, they are purposely too small to read that well. I r teh af34r3d of idea theeveses.

Main character from the not-too-distant future-ish. Name's going to be a reference to Rosalind Franklin. She has a talent for tennis, but her passion is for science. Definitely not the best "It's someone playing tennis!" picture ever drawn ever, but not terrible all things considered, I think?

Main character from the vaguely-like-our-past past. Still need to give him an alter-ego, because wow that was a fun brainfuck/physicsfuck to ponder. My mind still reels a little bit from the potential paradox there.

Main character from the way-in-the-future future. Water mage (Keet's Law (phonetic, don't know the spelling), where technology advanced enough appears to be magic, etc) with an affinity for sensing the "flow" of things. Stuck in a plumber's job, because being a water mage isn't all that it's cracked up to be.

First drawings of the water mage. One of the first things I did after getting the basic outline of her head/face was figure out how her hair could work. Also love the janitor-esque jumpsuit. Pockets, whee!

Background character, water mage's metal-mage BFF. They run a plumbing and mechanics fix-it business together. Metal also significant of the fact that I'm going with the Chinese five elements rather than the Classic Four.

Background character, water mage's Arch Rival, Charlie. Also the only character thus far with a definite name. Was going to make him a fire mage, but decided that was too cliché - hence why his name has "char" in it. He's horribly scarred on one side of his body, likely due to an accident when he was young - possibly with sharks, possibly when he was Old Enough to Know Better. He also has the job that every water mage wants - the kind that's actually pretty damn cool (though I haven't decided for sure what that is yet).
Not a lot more detail that I want to share at the moment, but it's fun to think about when other stuff is stalled, yeah?
And I end it there. Want to update before my time completely runs out anyway. Note to self: make artsy icon.
Edit: *tags the hell out of the entry* Ell oh ell.
Edit 2: Holy figs and pudding, there's a lite version of Morton's List! And it's freeeeeee.... o_o *...downloads*Someone buy me the complete book, or even the box set or something! Maybe for my birthday?
