soc_puppetSo this afternoon I was going through the process of adding to my interests. (I am now one of two people who openly pledge their support of Gay Penguins O_o. It almost surprises me that I'm not the first.)
Being slightly bored, I decided to scan through who else was interested in a few things. I recognized the name of someone who is also interested in Magic Kaito (I lurk a lot of places, and this person posts a lot of places I lurk) and decided to click through, just to see.
Did I ever see.
All things considered, I was, and continue to be, terribly amused. I don't know that I should be terribly amused. It's just, I'd never expected to come across something like this. As a matter of fact, in the event that I ever post something even remotely similar, it would be with great anxiety that anyone mentioned actually *would* find it.
Still.
If this sort of thing continues, I will develope a reputation for describing things in a way that people who read/hear/see the description fear for their sanity only to end up being pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as bad as he/she thought it would be. ("Once is an anomaly, twice is a pattern" and all that.)
In any case, I have the terrible urge to go out, find whoever is in charge of synchronicity, and give that person a good, swift kick to the lower backside.
(On a slightly unrelated note, does anyone else notice how I tend to go for longer words when I'm trying to be diplomatic? I think it was trained into me from an early age...)
