Oh, hey! I should probably post sometime soon, shouldn't I.

Saw an eagle (or possibly two eagles, though this seems rather unlikely) twice in the past week, once Thursday and once Friday. Thursday's sighting was in the early morning, where it landed on a tree not far from the bus lot for about five minutes, and I spent one of those minutes trying to figure out if it really was an eagle or just a turkey vulture trying to play tricks on me. ...Then I got back to doing my pre-trip bus check ¦Db Anywho, I was proven correct in my guess of it being an eagle when it took off shortly later and I saw its white head and tail feathers more clearly against the early sky background. I was then all "Eagle! ♥" the rest of the morning. (See, we get eagles around here, but we're kinda in their southern range, so we usually only see them in winter, and then it tends to be January before I actually spot any regularly, so I was really excited.) On Friday I saw it again (or perhaps a different one, as mentioned before, though again, unlikely) while riding to the bus driver/associate safety meeting, with four witnesses including my BFF ♥ So I have more solid proof that it wasn't a hallucination! Huzzah!

Had an eye appointment today, where it was confirmed that my eyes are pretty much doing the same as they were. They're technically a little better, but as I'm between prescriptions, I'm sticking with the stronger one, for better to see things with. Spent money on books while I was in that neck of the woods, what with Waldenbooks being right there and me having a couple of coupons and all.

Oh yeah, has one of those inksome things now. Link me to yours, I'm too lazy to go look for them. ...While I'm at it, IJ and JF too. Current plan is to stick any fic I'm too embarrassed to post here on the IJ, original stuff on the JF account, and random scribbles on Inksome. With luck, that will get me using more often.

Edit: Any and all recent flakiness I blame solely on the five-ish hours I spent designing the flyer for the Quire's winter concert, a duty which I in turn blame on my mother. It still turned out awesome, but I soooo don't want to have that sort of deadline again. I should nag myself more.
