also it occurred to me that "2029!Marinette and 2029!Adrien also need a vacation; it is now mid-June 2019, they've been in 2019 France since early May, they're going to turn up at Fu's basically the minute 2019!Marinette, Adrien, Alix, and Fu are all clear on the plan but not how to execute it, and in those six weeks they laid the groundwork to ensure absolutely nobody is going to trip any red flags when 'Felix Dupain' and his little brother Adrien and 'Bridgette Cheng' and her little sister Marinette go on a Bahamas cruise" is, like, a valid option here

not the only one obv but it's another way to make the thing work

...now what if, sticking with the adults' fake names for clarity, Felix and Bridgette are total shipping trash? they might not let on to the teens they're married to each other or whatever, but oh hey this oddly convenient romantic trope setup, oh hey that totally not staged romantic trope setup, look kids we couldn't afford two rooms (see also: not actually miracle workers, outside certain specific parameters not currently in effect) but there are two beds and yes we could divide by gender but really sleepy Felix is going to end up wrapped around Bridgette before dawn no matter what wakeful Felix plans, kid that is my emotional support cuddle bug, this bed's ours you two argue over that one
