soc_puppetIt's hotter'n the sun's armpit* right now, and I'm sweatin' like a frog** :( Unfortunately, there's still no working AC in the apartment, so I'm forced to rely on fans, cold drinks, and lukewarm showers. (Note to self: make food you can refrigerate and eat cold tomorrow.)
The point is: Lacking other options, I'm looking for Japanese-style AC. Which basically means that I want stories that'll give me the chills (or at least take my mind of the heat). Anyone have any recs? ♥?
* I wanted to use something other than hell/heck, and the armpit of something/one really hot was, I figured, appropriately warm and humid. I think I like "the devil's armpit" more, but "the sun's armpit" is somewhat less secular.
** That is to say, I feel like I'm secreting water constantly so I don't dry out. Er, if I remember about frogs correctly, that is. Still, it's less of a misnomer than sweating like a pig, at any rate.
