soc_puppetInternet is currently down at my house. We had a brief power outage, and when I go back from taking Chester the dachshund on a looooong walk, the power was back; unfortunately, I had about five minutes worth of internet access before the connection went out.
The internet professionals are all very busy working elsewhere in the state, trying to get internet connections and power restored to places that were more heavily damaged by the derecho from a few weeks ago; they said they can come take a look at things at our house, but not until September 12th. In the mean time, I’m doing some looking around and fiddling, but my knowledge is limited. I may have found the culprit (a broken cord), but that’ll still take me some time to fix.
In the mean time, if you especially need me for something, you can comment here, and I’ll get to it as soon as I can.
