Oh right, updating

Going for bullet points, folks.
* Ted Kord is, er. ~75% done-ish? He is turning out taller than America, which irks me a bit, but I'm not going to take him apart and re-stitch his boots on just for that. I think I'll be able to finish him either tonight or, if not, then definitely tomorrow.
* Speaking of crochet, I seem to be getting off my lazy arse WRT
hooked_on_anime and suchnot. Fingers crossed for an actual update sometime soon, though we'll see how it goes.
* Job stuff! Both the original interview on Tuesday and the follow-up interview on Thursday went well, I think, and I'm going in for drug testing tomorrow morning :3b (T-the folks at the drug testing place remember me. Is. Is that a good thing, or a bad thing...?) I'll probably have to give my psychiatrist's office a call, or just stop by, to make sure the paperwork gets on its way :/ I remember that being a Thing before. (Privacy protection! I like it! I'm glad it's in place! It just puts a minor clog in the bureaucratic tubes from time to time.)
* I am horribly, horribly distracted by the Homestuck kink memes. Distraction everywhere!
* Squee-worthy news: Steam Powered is becoming an annual series! (Hopefully I can get a handle on that whole "ordering things online" thing before the next volume comes out =_=a *staaaaaares at her mailbox*)
All you (other) aspiring authors have another ten days to crank out a story for the upcoming volume, and then you'll have to wait until submissions for volume three are open. As for me, now that I know there's going to be a few more in the works, I feel like actually getting something written in time to submit to any of them is 15% more doable. "Learn more history" is officially bumped up on my to-do list :)b
And now, back to... Something. Crochet, probably.

BTW, Ted's costume looks so much like Megaman's without the beetle legs. Just, wow. I hadn't realized until I was making him, and then it was overwhelmingly obvious.
