Minor headaches

Today I found out that the reason my prescription had not gone for automatic refill, despite the fact that there was another refill on the books and ready to go, was because it was only a partial refill. For sixty days, as opposed to ninety. And for this reason, I almost ran out of my meds completely, because the pharmacy computer insisted that my doctor needed to okay a refill, while my doctor's office insisted that there was a refill on file and thus there was no reason to send a new prescription.

I mean. I guess I understand how that broke things a little bit? And there was probably a shorter game of telephone tag involved than there might have been? But still.

OMG WTF BBQ.



Anyway. Back to contemplating what I need to do to make the new Anime Twine Con website shine.

UGH. Alex has been out of one of his meds for six days now, because the pharmacy insisted that they need his doctor to sign off on a refill, and while he kept requesting the authorization, the pharmacy said they hadn't gotten it. He finally got a hold of his doctor today, and she says she sent over authorization back on Thursday of last week. We're hoping we can get it fixed tomorrow, but this has been awful and frustrating.

It's a pain med, so they won't ever fill it early, which means if they're LATE filling it, he has already run out. Now he's been out nearly a week and can barely walk. Argh.

Oh jeez, that sucks! I'm so sorry that he's going through that! These glitches and miscommunications suck :(
