Birthday Bash

Mom got me a set of pajamas; it's a long-sleeved red top and black bottoms with multicolored puzzle pieces on them. (I think I've mentioned my suspicions that I'm on the autism spectrum to her, like, once, and that was years ago, so I'm almost certain that it's not related to that. I don't think I've yet mentioned to her that I don't wear pajamas to bed anymore, period. Either way, these pajamas will be nice for lounging around the house in on chilly days when I don't feel like getting dressed, and I'll leave it at that.)
I also dropped my car off with the mechanic, and am currently expecting it to cost more money than I want to think about 😩 But Mom gave me a ride from the mechanic's, and bought me breakfast besides, so that's not nothing.
Dad got me The Redwall Cookbook, which I am very excited to read through! The food descriptions in those books were easily one of my favorite things when I was growing up. They even made me drool for things I don't normally like.
We were originally going to be hosting the niblings this afternoon, but Dad's been feeling poorly, so we canceled; this means that any gifts from my brother and his family will have to wait for another time, should they have gotten me any.
Anyone care to get me some Dreamwidth points and/or visit my Amazon wishlist (of mostly ebooks) while the opportunity is ripe? 😃?
More seriously, if anyone is in the market to buy any corn-filled heat-and-cold packs, and/or pocket-sized marble mazes, shoot me a line! My bank account is soon to be very sad indeed, and I would not object to perking it up.
