After the horrific car expenses twice last year, this year's tax refund finally got my checking account back to normal levels! I was sitting at a nice, comfy spot for almost two months.

Almost. And now the check engine light is on 😭

Yeah, I'll have to call my mechanic tomorrow to see when they can get me in. Meanwhile, Mom's letting me borrow her car to go to work, so there's that, at least.
