After the horrific car expenses twice last year, this year's tax refund finally got my checking account back to normal levels! I was sitting at a nice, comfy spot for almost two months.

Almost. And now the check engine light is on 😭

Well, it didn't cost as much as I was afraid of, and it didn't take long to fix either, so I'll take it. I'm still not thrilled, naturally, but it's better than having to buy a new car!
