Yeah, so, uh. If I hadn't forgotten to bring the icon that is proof that I am a terrible person, I would be doing an icon dump right now. As it is, you're stuck with the one Snooch icon, and will have to wait for the others later. Wrrrryyyyy did I have to forget that one? *fails* And yeah, if I drank, now might be a time I'd go for it. 'Cuz I've got yet another art project due tomorrow that I still haven't really started on. And every time I think about starting it, I get an attack. Unless it's in the abstract sense that I'll be able to make everything up and it doesn't have to be from real life or something. Then I'm... not terrible. But I'm still dead meat tomorrow, as me doing this and the final is pretty much my one chance of passing the class at this point. Which I would be considerably more okay with if the teacher hadn't pointed out (in front of the class, no less) that I (specifically) was going to fry if I didn't start turning things in. Just because I don't look like I've got ADHD in class doesn't mean I don't have it... *grumble grumble* *should reeeeeally get to work on that paperwork* Also, mood is now back in the gutter range ¦D Go, me! So much for it being a really, really short bout of depression. Hopefully I'll feel better once my meds are changed. Or something.
Anyway, someone distract (read as: spam) me. I feel like talking right now.

The General was fifteen minutes late when he bothered to show up for the meeting. He brushed past the two men guarding the Fire Lord's council room with a casual smirk and settled nonchalantly into his place near the head of the table.
An advisor cleared his throat and rose. "Now that we are all here," he said, shooting the General a pointed glare (which the General ignored), "we can get down to buisness. First of all, farmers in the south are complaining of..."
The General smothered a yawn and tuned the advisor out. The meetings usually went on like this for some time, with various council members addressing problems facing the Fire Nation and its citizens, and various other council members offering possible solutions. The General didn't really care about the price of cabbages world-wide, or what different villages were doing for certain Fire Nation holidays, so he mostly didn't pay attention. Instead, he tended to let his mind drift; this time, it drifted to the past.
The Fire Lord had appointed him six months after the war had ended to help maintain order in a nation undergoing forcible regime change. He had been suggested for his intimate knowledge of the workings of smaller resistance groups. The new Fire Lord, recognizing the wisdom in this, had reluctantly offered him the position. He was now one of the youngest Fire Nation generals ever, as well as one of the few not to be a bender, and served under the second youngest Fire Lord in history.
