Pronoun Trouble

For today!

I picked up my prescription via drive-through; I did manage to "pre-pay" on my phone (I'm on Medicaid and my prescription is 100% covered through them), so the pharmacist only had to put the prescription bag in the delivery unit thingamabob, and I was good to go!

Don't know about Mom and Dad; I may cease reporting on them unless I know for certain whether they went out or not.

For today 😊

Dad took three of the bread loaves I made "last night" to Jewish friends, since today is Holocaust Remembrance Day; luckily Passover also ended recently (IIRC), so leavened bread is back on the menu!

Mom took Chester out to the dog park.

I did my usual Pokémon drive, and that's it.

Wait what? I'm actually posting this today?

Only went on my usual Pokémon drive; dunno about Mom and Dad. Will be baking more bread shortly.

For April 17th:

I did my usual Pokemon drive; don't think anyone else did anything of note, but can't swear one way or another. Also hello, I just finished baking off some bread, so Mom is probably going to deliver some of that today.

For April 15th:

Mom asked if she could bribe me to take Chester for a walk; I usually take her up on the offer in exchange for little things, like her loading the dishwasher instead of me. Anyway, I took Chester out to the dog park, which was practically deserted; I came within twenty feet of maybe one other person the entire time I was there. Social distancing success!

And we're back to the status quo 😅

I'm pretty sure Dad went grocery shopping, but I only went for my usual Pokémon drive, and Mom probably only walked Chester.

I might be done with even Pokémon drives for a while; I've got an epic sore throat at the moment. It could just be allergies and post-nasal drip (hopefully, even), but who wants to take that chance?

For April 11th:

Mom and Dad went to the bulk food grocery store; they found a lot of instant yeast there, to the point where they called and asked what type I might want. They brought me home a pound of the kind we use at work, so I think I'm set for a good while! I should at least be able to get through the rest of the bread flour they bought me last time.

They also picked me up some table salt. Dad was apparently unable to resist the half-gallon sized bulk bag. "It was only $2.50!" says Dad. (Mom tried to talk him into a smaller batch, to no avail.) Barring contamination, it's not like it'll go bad in my lifetime. And even then...

I went out and did my Pokémon drive; I got back just as Mom and Dad were leaving to drop goodie baskets off with my brother and SIL, so they invited me along. Mom handed the goodies over on the porch from arms' length, and Dad and I waved from the driveway; my brother and his wife work at one of the local hospitals, and see a lot of people on any given day, so they're being extra super duper cautious.

I finally made myself some cloth masks tonight! I've got five done, and cloth cut for another four. It's from the fat quarters I'd originally gotten to adjust some of my pockets, but I think this is probably a better use for it. Plus, I'm pretty sure I've still got enough in scraps to extend at least ten pockets, so I should be set.

And that's it for today! Er, yesterday. I got real close to updating before midnight this time 😅

April 9th, I did an hour-long Pokémon drive; dunno if my parents did anything special.

I also baked four more loaves of bread, using up the last of my instant yeast. Dad's planned to go to a bulk grocery store tomorrow (er, today), and I put instant yeast on the list, but I'm not particularly expecting him to bring back much (or any). I should try and get up on time to let him know that. Either way, I'll be switching up whatever bread recipe I use for the future; the "pan bread" recipe from work is delicious, but 1Tb per loaf is definitely a bit much.

See, this is a major flaw in my "Do my log before going to sleep" plan; what with my fucked up sleep schedule, my updates are tending to happen after midnight.

Anyway. Dad went grocery shopping, I did the driving thing, don't think Mom went anywhere. I also crocheted some stingrays and may share pics later, because stingrays.

Today, Dad did gardening stuff, Mom took Chester to the dog park, and I stayed in the house except to do some Pokémon driving. Nice, simple day.
