This is at least 50% to do with books
Oct. 31st, 2007 09:18 pmToday's xkcd: I cracked up. And it's a more legit reason to have a failing grade than I've yet to come up with.
On a different note, ARGH ARGH ARGH the library finally has two copies of Starcross available for checkout and I don't know when I'll be able to get ahold of them argh! T-they just became available today and I didn't know until about five minutes before the library was supposed to close so I couldn't run out and get a copy DD: Maybe Mom will be really super indulgent tomorrow and let me grab a copy before the library opens...
Did Hallowe'en door patrol most of the two trick-or-treating hours tonight. Went in at last near eight o'clock because I was getting chilly. I should make a season one Katara costume; that one has longer sleeves. Ended up handing out something like forty books to various passers-by, which I count as rather successful :3b People still love the book house.
I keep wanting to write "How the main cast got their names" fics for Storm Hawks, but I keep resisting because of the looming feeling that I'll be contradicted by canon. Well, mostly that the way I write their parents/guardians will be contradicted by canon, but still. (Note to self regardless: Junco, piper, stork (+1, +2), finn(?) (alternate), a(e)rrow.)

Edit: Oh yeah, and a holiday card sign-up entry will likely go up tomorrow. Because the soonest I will start one is November, and other people on my f'list have already put theirs up, so.
