Whee, laundry day! I've still got a good twenty minutes or so before my last load is done in the dryer, so it's posting time :Dbb
First, today's the third annual International Day of Femslash, yaaaay! I was planning to write and post something, but I suck (read: am busy with other things), so I didn't, boo :( Still, if you want to write something, but don't know what, there's a whole long list of drabble prompts over here you could take a look at! I'm reeeeally unfamiliar with most if not all of the fandoms listed, or I might have given it a shot. But maybe you know more about them than I do!
Second, one of the directors of the Quire got legally married today to her partner of ten years ♥ Congrats, you two! And NOM can go... do something they find unpleasant! Hrmph!
Third, after much digging and shuffling of papers (and even a significant amount of actually throwing them away - which is surprising, given my packrat tendencies), I finally found the pattern I made up from the Burupya plush I made![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
rinkhals, yay! I'd been looking for it so I could collect it and share it for the plushie panel at AI, and not finding it was stressing me out pretty bad. I mean, I would've substituted the Kero-chan pattern I'm going to be writing up soon, but I like "in addition" much better. I'm probably also going to start collecting my patterns and amigurumi pics into a separate journal. I'll probably continue to at least post pics over here (my main DW/LJ journals), but patterns and techniques are almost certainly only going to be covered over there. I just need to think of a good name...
Tangent to third, I'm apparently going to be making an Appa amigurumi (and recording the pattern as I go, and NOT LOSING IT THIS TIME) next. Uh. I'm not sure how well it's going to go, but I'll do my best? Thiiiis'll probably be between projects for family (I've got two mini brain slugs to make for my young cousins on the east coast, and Mom commissioned me for a dolphin like the one I finally got to baby-first-cousin-once-removed Claire), but it's roughly next on the list. Yes.
