soc_puppetSwitched speech topic from "Why You Should Switch to Firefox" over to "Why You Should Learn Esperanto", because the former was giving me a headache to try and write. Esperanto speech is going much more smoothly! I still need to write the conclusion, but that's just one paragraph, and I've already got all of my sources listed and embedded as well.
...I should make an Esperanto Dreamsheep. And pick Esperanto back up in general. I remembered what I know better than I was expecting, but I really do want to know this language well.
Edit: Speech is (tentatively) complete! I just want to extract it from the template and give it a good look over for flow and so forth, and then it should be good to go. Thank goodness.

Date: 2025-07-24 06:43 pm (UTC)There are some options, yes; I'm planning to look into one that I'd initially dismissed, as it was a bit more on the social side and I was struggling mightily with social anxiety at the time.
Can't say that I have, no. IIRC, it's pretty heavily influenced by Eastern European languages, and possibly also Hebrew, since Zamenhof was Jewish.
